Main Shop Technician - Savannah

The Savannah location has an immediate need for a shop Technician. This position will require daily repairs as specified on products such as diesel equipment, powertrains, and hydraulic and electrical systems. Daily complete inspections of equipment with regard to safety and efficient operations and police contamination control practices. Must have knowledge of routine maintenance and repair procedures for a range of equipment (Cat & non-Cat). This position will daily require Technician to bend, squat, lift, crawl, climb and reach. Will also routinely lift and put into place heavy loads requiring pushing, lifting and holding in excess of 100 lbs, and required to provide own tools. At all times to communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Required Skills:

Selected individuals will complete a rigorous 6-12 month training program that includes computer based training, hands-on training, rotational assignments and sales related projects. The program will focus on learning and understanding the product support, operations and sales areas of the company. Upon successful completion of the training program, the individual will be assigned a rental, product support or general line sales position in our Machine Division. This is a full-time position, including benefits and a competitive salary.

There are two positions available for a Technician at a Level 2 and 3. This level includes the skills to recondition, repair and/or replace all components of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drive trains, electrical systems, steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
