Yancey Bros. Co. Sponsors Four Equipment Technician Educational Programs at Georgia Technical Colleges

Yancey Bros. Co. is proud to sponsor Heavy Equipment and Diesel Equipment Technology programs at four of Georgia's technical colleges.

Students attending the Heavy Equipment Service Technology program at North Georgia Technical College in Clarksville (northeastern Georgia), the Diesel Equipment Technology Associates Degree program at South Georgia Technical College in Americus (southern central Georgia), the Heavy Equipment Service Technician program at West Central Technical College in Carrollton ( western metro Atlanta), and the Heavy Equipment Service Technician program at Altamaha Technical College in Baxley ( southeastern Georgia) represent the next generation of equipment technicians for Georgia.

Yancey Bros. Co. provides support materials and guidance for students enrolled in the programs at these four Georgia colleges. Once successfully completing the course requirements, students are eligible to begin a career working for Yancey Bros. Co. in full-time positions as either Diesel Engine or Heavy Equipment Technicians.

As the full service Caterpillar dealer serving the state of Georgia, Yancey Bros. Co. offers various career opportunities to graduates of any of these program. Opportunities exist as Technicians, Technical Advisors and in Service Management. In addition there are Sales, Finance, Distribution and Management positions throughout the Yancey organization.

All four colleges are fully accredited state institutions under the direction of the Georgia State Board of Technical and Adult Education. Most Georgia residents are eligible to receive funding from the Hope Scholarship Program that covers a major portion of the costs of the programs. The tuition and fees for these programs are assessed according to the policies established for all technical institutes governed by the Georgia State Board of Technical and Adult Education.
