Combines & Harvesting Heads
Combines and Harvesting Heads
Challenger 600 Series Combines feature an innovative design and highly efficient rotor technology that provides unbeatable harvesting performance with a minimum of complexity. Only 11 belts and three drive chains drive the entire machine; and a total of 31 grease fittings means less maintenance, so you're in the field quicker.
A single moving part - the 140-inch, variable-speed rotor - performs four tasks . . . intake, threshing, separating and residue discharge. The rotor is also hydraulically driven and electronically monitored, so you can set the speed to match crop conditions. Once set, rotor speed remains constant, regardless of changes in engine rpm or field conditions.
Challenger combines are big on power, too. The class VI Model 660 is rated at 285 horsepower and the Class VII Model 670 boasts 340 horsepower. Both utilize a Caterpillar C9 engine that increases horsepower output to maintain productivity in tough conditions or when unloading on the go.
Standard Features
