Pioneer Joins the Yancey Family of Companies

Yancey Bros. Co. is pleased to announce that we completed our acquisition of the Pioneer Machinery operating assets on December 14, 2007.  Georgia locations of Pioneer began operatingas a separate division of Yancey Bros. Co., focused entirely on the forestry and recycling business.  In addition, our new division has retained the Pioneer name.

Many of the same people you have dealt with in the past will continue to sell and support the products you’re accustomed to.  But you will also be supported by the “The Nation’s Oldest Caterpillar Dealer”, Yancey Bros. Co., and our dedicated employees and resources at nineteen other locations across Georgia.

In addition to us continuing to operate five stand-alone Pioneer locations, we will also locate Pioneer representatives in three more existing Yancey locations in Georgia.  Pioneer will now be represented in Albany, Calhoun, Gainesville, Macon, Statesboro, Valdosta, Washington and Waycross.

For more information on the Pioneer Forestry Division of Yancey Bros. Co., please visit them on-line at www.PioneerGeorgia.com .
